INTRODUCTION
The following pages record the birds, animals and plants photographed during a trip to Madagascar during October and November 2019. The trip started in Antananarivo and after an overnight we flew to Morodava on the west coast of the island. 
A road transfer immediately followed to Kirindy Reserve about 70 km distant and the following day a long drive to the National Park of Tsingy of Bemaraha. The road to Tsingy was a rutted dirt road making the 205 km trip longer than expected. After 2 nights in Tsingy we returned to Morondava before transferring to Antsirabe another exceptionally long drive of 495 km. The next destination was Ranomafana National Park 235 km south of Antsirabe. 
Three nights were spent in Ranomafana before moving further south to Isalo National Park, another 360 km drive. From Isalo the final leg of this part of the trip was a further 260 km to Ifaty near Toliara, after spending time in the spiny forest we then flew back to Antananarivo from Toliara.
The final two destinations on the tour were Andasibe 150 km south of Antananarivo and after returning to Antananarivo for one night the long drive of 460 km north to Ankarafantsika. After spending 2 nights at this remote location we returned to Antananarivo and before returning home visited Tsarasaotra Lake in the heart of the city.
